Jacqueline Marie Knight is graduate of the BFA Acting Program at Texas State University. Her stage credits include roles in various original works, stage readings and devised works, most notably starring in Ajax in Iraq as the British diplomat and philomath, Gertrude Bell. Jacqueline can also be seen in the upcoming production of Hamlet. In addition to these mainstage productions, Jacqueline is also working on a staged reading of the new play, The Wanderers that follows a young couple on their soul searching journey across the country. The staged reading will be a production of the Sarah Street Theatre Collective in December.
This last summer, Jacqueline trained at the Globe Theatre in London and with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon. She has experience with equestrian horseback riding, can drive stick shift, and has taken a course in Rappier/Dagger taught by a SAFD certified instructor. She also loves animals and children and works well with both. Jacqueline currently lives in Austin, where she will reside until she finishes her degree and embark for Chicago.
